Dream 11 is the official sponsor for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Tuesday announced Dream 11 as the official sponsor for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), which will be held in UAE.

Chinese mobile brand Vivo was the previous sponsors of IPL, but after the rising political tension between the two countries, the Indian cricket board suspended the deal.

As per reports, the BCCI received Rs 440 crore from Vivo, while Dream XI will pay BCCI 222 crore.

The lucrative T20 league will kick-off on September 19, with defending champions Mumbai Indians kicking-off the campaign against Chennai Super Kings.
