Vaccine Race Heats Up As China Grants Patent To A COVID-19 Vaccine

As the search for the elusive COVID-19 vaccine continues China has granted the first patent to a Covid-19 vaccine. The patent went to a Chinese firm CanSino Biologics Inc. The vaccine was co-developed by CanSino with a team led by Chinese military infectious disease expert, Chen Wei.
