JLU Became The First University in Central India To Be Awarded The Most Prestigious QS I.GAUGE e-LEAD Certification

The certificate is to recognize the university's efforts to quickly adopt a diversified strategy of inclusive e-learning solutions.

Jagran Lakecity University becomes the only university in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh to be awarded the QS I.GAUGE E-LEAD certification. This prestigious certificate has been awarded to JLU Bhopal for its robust digital ecosystem for imparting quality education to its students on virtual platforms. With the highest amount of digital preparedness, JLU is changing the face of virtual learning in central India. To ensure continuity of learning, the university is deploying an advanced e-learning management system to not only take classes online but to make creative and design studios go online too. JLU was also among the top 200 universities in India to efficiently conduct exams on time, in the month of April.

University has scored 150/150 points in all parameters which include scoring on areas like live tutorial sessions, live streaming of seminars/lectures, pre-recorded lectures/tutorial sessions, virtual one-to-one student-faculty meetings, and feedback exercise. QS I.Guage team also highlighted that JLU has adequate IT support to successfully conduct online teaching and learning along with adequate disaster recovery mechanisms in place to continue functioning remotely.
The university has started regular classes for the existing batches from 13th July 2020. For the orientation program, JLU invited many industry experts from various fields who interacted with students and motivated them for the new session. The student service cell also is in touch with all the students to understand their requirements and engage with them virtually. The university is ready to start the session for new batches from 24th august 2020, though the admissions for the new batches will be open till 15th Sept 2020. JLU also awards up to 100% scholarships to deserving students who have displayed extra-ordinary achievements both in academics and sports. It has also committed Rs. 1 cr. towards freeships and scholarships to support students in 2020.

JLU Bhopal is one of the fastest-growing and one of the most awarded universities of Central India having an equal mix of theory and practicals based blended pedagogy at its core. Currently, the university is offering 65+ UGS approved UG/PG degree programs to more than 2500 students from 8 countries and 27 states of India. Jagran Lakecity University has a pristine campus which is spread in a vast area of 230 acres. With a lush green landscape surrounding the campus, it is a beautiful area to stay in. The university is one of the finest in India with 8 ultra-modern academic blocks consisting of classrooms, auditorium, and labs for hands of training for the students. It has a 28,000 sqft Pyramid shape library giving students access to more than 35,000 books and journals. The university has also taken all measures for the safety of students. The campus is completely wi-fi and secured with CCTV cameras. The university has a dedicated medical room with a qualified nurse and has a tie-up with leading hospitals of the city to take care of any emergency.

JLU believes in the all-round development of its students and hence offers different sports and recreational facilities on campus. The facilities range from the modern gymnasium, 25mtrs swimming pool, dance studios, drama theatres, and football and basketball courts. It also has a dedicated student lounge which gives access to the indoor games and becomes a fun area for the students on campus. There is a sense of community within the campus with a 350 bedded hostel separate for boys and girls. Attached to the hostel is the student mess providing nutritious meals to the students residing on the campus. It also offers multiple food outlets giving students a variety of options to choose from.
