BJP leader and former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghuvar Das said on Monday that the work of the electricity grid and transmission line started by his government is going to be completed, after which uninterrupted power supply will be possible in the state.

Senior BJP leader Raghuvar Das said in a statement, "It is a matter of joy that the power grid and transmission line and substation in the state are going to be completed because, after this, the uninterrupted power supply will be possible in the state. Das tweeted, "Our government started these works which are now visible on the ground."

BJP spokesperson Pratul Shahdev, on the other hand, said that the schemes launched during the previous government headed by BJP's Raghuvar Das are showing on the ground. The transmission line is most essential for uninterrupted power. He said that where 114 grids were required, only 31 grids were operational in the year 2014. During the BJP government, 59 new gridwork was completed and work was going on on the rest.

He said that a total of 350 new power substations were targeted to be constructed, in which more than 200 substations were completed during the tenure of the BJP government, the rest were in the final phase. It is known that the Hemant Soren government will start a ready-made power grid system and transmission line in the state on Tuesday.
