NEW DELHI: Nifty Infrastructure index was trading in the green zone at 01:57PM (IST) on Tuesday.
Shares of CG Power & Industrial Solutions (up 4.66 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (up 4.0 per cent), GMR Infrastructure (up 1.91 per cent), Container Corporation of India (up 1.88 per cent) and Bharat Heavy Electricals (up 1.22 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While Suzlon Energy (down 2.44 per cent), Vodafone Idea (down 1.68 per cent), Torrent Power (down 1.48 per cent), Tata Power Company (down 1.25 per cent) and CESC (down 1.07 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 1.03 per cent up at 3236.2 around 01:57PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 94.20 points at 11341.3, while the BSE Sensex was up 303.29 points at 38354.07.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 34 were trading in the green, while 16 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors and NTPC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Birlasoft, KIOCL Ltd., IOL Chemicals, Aditya Birla Fashion (PP) and SRF hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Mittal Life Style Ltd. and Uniinfo Telecom Services Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
