A new bathroom for $126: Mum reveals how she gave her tired space a budget makeover - complete with $3 vinyl, Aldi paint and $30 worth of Bunnings tools

A mother-of-four has given her dowdy bathroom a sleek, modern makeover for just $126 - and the result is so impressive, people are offering to pay her to renovate their own.
Veronica Chahda revamped the master bathroom of her Sydney home with DIY equipment from Bunnings and stylish accessories from discount brands like Kmart and IKEA.
She re-grouted the shower with $30 tools from Bunnings, painted tiles with $30 paint from Aldi and covered the cupboard under the sink with $3 vinyl sheets from Kmart - rendering the room almost unrecognisable from its former dated state.
Ms Chahda posted photos taken before and after the renovation in a household group on Facebook, telling members she thinks she 'did alright' on such a low budget.

'But let me tell you, re-grouting ain't so good for the back,' she wrote in the caption.
Outlining every step of the transformation, Ms Chahda said she bought a $40 shower head from Catch of the Day and built a DIY mirror frame out of $10 panels bought at Bunnings.
She used $6 'Variera' tubs from IKEA to hold cosmetics and intimate products under the sink and looped the lead of her hair straightener over a Bunnings wall hook to keep stop it trailing along the floor.

For the finishing touch, Ms Chahda decorated with a wooden plant stand, rug, soap dispenser and candles she owned already.
She poured hair and body products into stylish pump bottles bought on Sydney website, Label Me Up, to fit the colour scheme of her new and improved bathroom.
Hundreds marvelled at what she had achieved while spending so little, with one woman declaring the bathroom 'looks like a brand new renovation'.

Many were so impressed with Ms Chahda's handiwork, they asked her to restyle their own homes on a similar shoestring budget.
'Oh my gosh this looks awesome! Feel free to come and makeover mine,' one said.
'Looks awesome, so refreshing. It's made such a change and your bathroom even looks lighter,' said another.
A third said: 'What a great job! (Love Kmart vinyl it's awesome) and you've inspired me to have a go with the tiles and grout in my bathroom now!'
