Delhi starts land monetisation exercise

NEW DELHI: The Delhi government has initiated the biggest land monetisation exercise in India in recent times, putting up 10 million square feet of land for commercial development, hoping to generate revenue upwards of Rs 6,000 crore. Also in the works is the development of 920 acres for an industrial township, to promote non-pollution industries including services business.
