Indian classical music maestro Pandit Jasraj passed away at the age of 90 in New Jersey USA today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid his last respect to Pandit Jasraj. In his tweet, PM mentioned that Pandit Ji's demise has left a deep void in the Indian cultural sphere. Bollywood celebrities like Vishal Dadlani, Madhur Bhandarkar and more remembered Pandit Jasraj.

Pandit Jasraj is survived by wife Madhura, daughter Durga and Son Sharang Dev. He was honoured with all three Padma awards - Padma Shri, Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan.. Lately, he was teaching music nationally and internationally.
