The total figure of corona patients in Bihar has crossed one lakh. Given Corona's increasing transition, the state government has extended the lockdown to 6 September with some additional strictures. It will remain in the state, district, subdivision, block headquarters and municipal body areas till 6 September. Night curfew will remain in force. However, there were earlier discussions that the government was about to end the lockdown. More than one lakh cases of corona have been reported in Bihar, in which 461 people have died. So far, more than 72 thousand corona patients have been cured, while the number of active cases is more than 31 thousand. Given the increasing cases of the corona, a lockdown was imposed across the state. However, the lockdown has been relaxed slightly.
The order issued by the Home Department stated that the guidelines given on 30 July have been extended till 6 September. Business and private institutions will open with certain conditions. The shop and market are allowed to open. Dharamshala, malls, parks, schools, colleges, and coaching will remain closed. Rail and air services will continue. Private offices with offices of the Center, State Governments will operate with 50% capacity. Night curfew will continue from night 10 to 5 left. Shops and markets will be allowed to operate subject to necessary restrictions according to time and rest rules. The restaurant will only be allowed home delivery. All activities related to construction will be on.
These services will be restored
Services of the state government- Police, home guard civil defense fire and emergency services, disaster management, elections, and prison-related services will continue. Apart from this, transport services will be restored for other work related to the district administration, treasury, IT services, electricity, water supply, water resources, agriculture and animal husbandry, municipal bodies, hospital-medical institutions.
Their shops will be open
- Ration, Fruit, Milk, Vegetable, Meat Fish Shops, and PDS.
- There will be only home delivery from hotels, lodges, restaurants, and dhabas.
- Services related to animal husbandry will also continue.
- Permission to open farming shops.
- E-commerce services will continue.
- Construction work will continue and shops attached to it will open.
- Court related work will be conducted according to the guidelines issued by the Patna High Court Administration.
