CHANDIGARH:
Haryana on Monday surpassed it all the old tallies in terms of new patients and deaths as well as recoveries the 887 new cases and highest 12 deaths of the death took overall tally to 48,040 and 550 deaths. As many as 1,009 patient recoveries pushed overall tally to 40,610 with a recovery rate of 84.53%.
With the doubling rate stable at 31 days there are total 6,880 active cases in the state. Active cases include 150 critical patients out of who 127 are on oxygen support and rest 23 are on ventilators. Most of the critical patients are in Faridabad, Rohtak and Sonipat medical facilities.
Notably, Panchkula reported the maximum four deaths followed by two deaths in Yamunanngar and one each in Faridabad, Ambala, Jhajjar, Kurukshetra, Kaithal and Nuh districts.
According to information, maximum 107 new patients of the day were reported from Faridabad district. Here the overall total has gone upto 11,137 cases and 154 deaths. With 10,181 recoveries there are 802 active patients in the district.
Faridabad is followed by Gurugram with 97 patients where the overall total has gone up to 10,374 and 130 deaths. There are 719 active patients in the district. Panipat recorded the third highest of 81 new patients where the number has gone upto 2,189.
Ambala recorded the fourth highest with 71 new patients and bracketed with Rewari as well. Notably, Monday’s total took Ambala to fourth position in the state with 2640 cases and Rewari to fifth position with 2559 patients.
Yamunanagar reported 62 new patients where the overall total has gone upto 698 cases with 14 deaths. Rohtak reported 58 new patients where the total has gone upto 2189. Kurukshetra reported 51 new patients where the total has gone upto 978 with 17 deaths.
Karnal reported 46 new patients where the total has gone upto 1642 while Mahendergarh reported 41. Sonipat reported 39 new patients followed by 34 of Charkhi Dadri and 31 in Kaithal district.
Hisar reported 29 new patients followed by 15 in Panchkula and 12 each in Jhajjar and Bhiwani districts. Nine new patients each were reported from Nuh and Fatehabad districts. Six new patients were reported in Palwal, five in sirsa and one in Jind.
The testing rate in the state has gone upto 33718 as total 854757 persons have been tested so far.
