Telugu Desam Party President Chandrababu Naidu wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday requesting an order for an inquiry into the alleged 'phone tapes' by the ruling YSRCP government.

In a letter to Mr. Modi, Mr. Naidu urged him to order an inquiry into the matter on behalf of the Government of India. He said that the central government should take strict action against the YSRCP government and some private individuals in this matter as it is an illegal act and a threat to national security.

Mr. Naidu said, "Phone taping in an illegal manner is a violation of Articles 19 and 21 of the Constitution which are the fundamental rights of the people." The ruling YSRCP government is resorting to illegal acts and blackmail to suppress the opposition and the voice rising against them. ''

He said that not only the state government but some private people are also tapping illegal phones with the help of technology and if these illegal actions are not stopped then it will become a big threat to national security and integrity. Former chief minister said in addition to the letter, '' We appeal to take immediate action in case of Tapig called illegal by the Andhra Pradesh government and some private ones Mr. Modi. ''
