NEW DELHI: PSU Bank stocks were trading with losses at 12:13PM (IST) on Monday.
Shares of State Bank of India (down 1.68 per cent), Canara Bank (down 1.63 per cent), Bank of India (down 1.48 per cent), Punjab & Sind Bank (down 0.77 per cent) and UCO Bank (down 0.73 per cent) were the top losers in the index.
While Indian Bank (up 2.17 per cent), Indian Overseas Bank (up 0.97 per cent), Punjab National Bank (up 0.47 per cent), Bank of Maharashtra (up 0.41 per cent) and J & K Bank (up 0.3 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 0.75 per cent down at 1414.45 around 12:13PM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 28.35 points at 11206.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 46.85 points at 37924.19.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 36 were trading in the green, while 14 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, NTPC, Tata Motors and SBI were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of KIOCL Ltd., Aditya Birla Fashion (PP), APL Apollo Tube, Bajaj Elec. and MindTree hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Mittal Life Style Ltd. and Keerti Knowledge and Skills Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
