- Strengths: While you can certainly sense the Bentayga's weight, there's something to be said about its rock-solid presence and feel, which is unchanged with the freshening.
- Weaknesses: The stop-start system on a vehicle of this weight and size takes some getting used to. A first-world problem, for sure.
JUST ARRIVED: 2021 Bentley Bentayga
The Bentayga Speed, the 626-hp performance variant, was unveiled last week. It has unique styling touches such as dark-tint headlights and taillights, body-colored side skirts and a spoiler.
- Bottom line: The updated infotainment and digital instrument cluster feels like a revelation compared with the outgoing tech. The Bentayga felt right at home cruising up and down metro Detroit's Woodward Avenue as well the twists and turns of country roads northwest of Detroit. It's easy to see why the V-8 option, with a hearty soundtrack, has become so popular among Bentayga customers.
