NEW DELHI: The capital recorded 1,276 fresh cases of Covid-19 on Saturday, taking its total tally to over 1.51 lakh. The death toll, meanwhile, rose to 4,188 with 10 more fatalities.
According to the state health department, 5,667 RT-PCR tests and 12,604 rapid antigen tests were conducted in the past 24 hours. “The positivity rate – number of positive people among those tested — has increased to 7%,” an official claimed.
As many as 1,36,251 patients have recovered, migrated out or been discharged, while the number of active cases stands at 11,489, of which 5,809 are in home isolation. Delhi is conducting 67,969 tests per million.
