Woman assisting police over Brisbane man's suspicious Cairns hotel death
A 32-year-old woman is assisting police as part of a major investigation into the suspicious death of a Brisbane man missing from a business trip in far north Queensland.
Police discovered what was believed to be 52-year-old Anthony Brady's body in a Cairns hotel on Friday, one day after he was due back in the capital.
Detectives released images of a 32-year-old woman on Saturday, saying they believed she was the last person to see Mr Brady and might have held important information about his movements.
A police spokesman said she was found at an address in the Cairns suburb of Manoora before 11am on Sunday and was assisting with inquiries. No charges have been laid.
On Saturday, Detective Acting Inspector Jason Smith described the woman as being "of interest" but "not a suspect".

Mr Brady had left Brisbane last Monday to audit petrol stations in the region. Family raised the alarm after he failed to return on Thursday as planned.
His disappearance sparked a major police probe and state crime command homicide squad detectives travelled to Cairns on Friday night.
Police were still working to confirm the body was in fact that of Mr Brady, along with a cause of death, Acting Inspector Smith said on Saturday.
The discovery was made at the Sunshine Tower Hotel, three streets away from the Cairns Plaza Hotel Mr Brady had been staying at.
