Congress legislators won because of unity: Ashok Gehlot

The Gehlot government of Rajasthan secured a trust vote in the assembly on Friday. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has expressed happiness after the state government won the trust vote, calling it a victory for the policies of the Congress.

CM Gehlot tweeted that winning the trust vote in the assembly is a message for the forces who are trying to destabilize the elected government in the country. Every one of his strategies failed in Rajasthan. It is the unwavering faith of the people towards us and the unity of our Congress MLAs who have won this victory.

In another tweet, Ashok Gehlot said that there is a wave of happiness in the entire state, people have been waiting for a long time. I consider it a victory for the people of the state, a victory for the policies of the Congress, of programs, of principles, that our legislators should be united, it is a victory of their unity.

Significantly, the Gehlot government on Friday moved a resolution to win the vote of confidence in the assembly. It was passed by voice vote after arguments by the parties and the opposition.
