Testing in Vadodara rise to 2,000 people daily

Vadodara: The Vadodara Municipal Corporation and district administration seem to have decided to raise Covid-19 testing. Prime minister Narendra Modi had recently stressed on the need for this during a video conference with chief ministers of the 10 states worst hit by Covid-19.
Officer on special duty for Covid-19 in Vadodara Vinod Rao said that currently around 650 antigen tests were being conducted in the city. Sources said that with 450 to 600 RT-PCR tests a day, the total number of tests reaches to around 1,200.
Rao stated that from Monday, the number of antigen tests will be increased to around 2,000 per day. The Dhanvantari Raths too will be collecting samples for these tests.
