NAGPUR: A constable was shot dead while his colleague suffered a bullet injury after a Maoist ‘action team’ opened fire on them at Kothi in Bhamragarh tehsil of Gadchiroli on Friday.
The constables, Dushant Nandeshwar and Dinesh Bhosale, posted at sensitive Kothi sub-police station, were attacked after they stopped at a grocery shop on the way to a primary health centre. The incident took place within 200 metre of the police station. Nandeshwar died in the attack.
