Earlier in the afternoon, Dhoni’s famous SUV Hummer arrived at the airport and seven bags carrying his cricket kits and other luggage were dropped at the airport by one of his staffs.
Monu Kumar, who is a bowler with the CSK, arrived at the airport an hour before Dhoni and spoke to media persons gathered outside the departure gate. “All the players of Chennai Super Kings are reaching the franchise home ground for a preparatory training camp before we go to UAE for IPL 2020. We are hopeful that we will perform well and Chennai will emerge as the champions,” Kuma said.
Dhoni and Kumar boarded a special chartered flight of CSK which was arranged by the franchise to ferry their players to their home ground.
