The country is celebrating its 74th Independence Day today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the tricolor at the Red Fort for the 7th time today. The Prime Minister reached the Lahori Gate of the Red Fort at 7.18 am this morning, after which he was received by Defense Minister Rajnath Singh and Defense Secretary Dr. Ajay Kumar. Earlier, President Ram Nath Kovind addressed the nation on the eve of 74th Independence Day.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said in his address, 'Education of the country is of great importance in building self-reliant India, in building modern India, in building new India, in building prosperous and prosperous India.

The Prime Minister said that the power of a common Indian, its energy, is the very basis of the self-reliant India campaign, continuous work is being done at every level to maintain this strength.
