In an exclusive interview with India Today Television, late actress Jiah Khan's mother Rabia Khan talked about the time filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt asked her to stay quiet at Jiah's funeral. She also talked about Bollywood mafia and how, with their power and money, they help Sooraj Pancholi. Jiah was found dead at her home in Mumbai in June 2013. Her family blames Sooraj Pancholi, Jiah's then boyfriend for her death.
Earlier, Rabia had shared a post on social media demanding for a CBI probe into Sushant Singh Rajput death case. In the post, she drew similarity between the way Jiah Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput died.
What do you have to say about Sushant's death case.
I was among the first people to say that this is a murder. The similarities struck me. His partner and Jiah's partnet trapped them in love, promising them marriage, taking their money, keep them away from their loves ones. Then when their control was sliping, they get rid of them, they strangulate them. It makes me laugh at Police. They have spent more time sabotaging the investigating than finding the truth. They took the nepotism angle because it suited them.

On Jiah's case
The police officer told me he wants to punish Sooraj. I told him look at Sooraj Pancholi's background. He used to beat my daughter. I told them that my daughter has been killed, take a Narco test, but they refused it. The Police was pressurised by the Bollywood mafia so much that a Bollywood icon said that don't interogate him, leave him alone, we are launching him.
Are you hopeful that Jiah will get justice?
She will get justice, Justice is not a human game, God will give her justice. I have faith, truth will prevail. We will raise our voice against the injustice.
You keep mentioning Bollywood mafia. Who are these people?
I don't want to take dirty names on my lips. I don't need to name them. They are all over and you can see them. This darkness is Bollywood is created by them. Anybody, be it a rapist for a murderer, in the nexus is pardoned.
In our earlier interview with Sooraj, he said that he is being made the escape goat in the case. He also said that you don't appear in court hearings?
Tell that kid to get some education. Will the court wait for me? The case was shut by the police. Who took the case to the court? I did. I do appear for the hearing, my lawyer team has been appearing. I have spend money like water to get justice for my daughter. Most of the time, the hero (Sooraj) is not there. The court had to wait for this accused to come. When he comes, he brings media and laughs like nothing happened. I fly from london every month for the hearings.
Do you feel hopeless?
I feel hopeless that police is supporting the mafia and wrong people. I feel sad that such talented people are being killed. People use money and power to tamper the investigation.
Do you think Sooraj gaslighted Jiah?
Sooraj is selfish. My daughter did everything to prove her love. She kept assuring him. My daughter never lied or hide things from me but after meeting Sooraj she started hidding things from me. On valentine's Day, I asked her, 'You look sad.' She started crying right after that. She told me Sooraj beats her. I told her that you shouldn't go back to India. Sooraj manipulatd her. He called her to Mumbai saying that he is getiing operated. And she being sympathatic person, went.
Jiah was declared depressed. What do you have to say on that?
Who said it? Except Mahesh Bhatt. At my daughter's funeral, he came to me and said that Jiah was depressed. I said, "Excuse me sir. She was never depressed." She told me, "Tum chup hojao varna tumhe bhi injection deke sula dege." Victim are made criminals here and they accuse their families, saying that we want money.
Mahesh Bhatt has been vocal about Sushant's mental health. What do you have to say on that?
He is a mouth piece of Bollywood mafia. He knows nothing. He is so pathetic that I have no words to express. he was intimidating when my daughter worked for him at the age of 16. He told me to leave her alone. How could I leave her alone. I will speak for justice. I will tell the world what these people are.
