Rajasthan: Ashok Gehlot government won the trust vote in the assembly!

The Ashok Gehlot government has won the trust vote in the fifth session of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly starting today. After the debate, the Congress government of the state won the trust vote. With this, the threat of the government has been eliminated for the last several days. Now the Ashok Gehlot government will not face a crisis for six months.

The vote of confidence has been passed in the Assembly by voice vote. The Assembly has been adjourned till August 21 after the Rajasthan government won a trust vote.

During the debate on the motion of confidence, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot attacked the Bharatiya Janata Party fiercely. He said that the BJP had conspired to bring down the government in the state. Earlier, the Gehlot government has moved a resolution to get a confidence vote in the assembly. It was presented by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Shanti Dhariwal on behalf of the Government of Rajasthan.
