Noida's Covid-19 tally reaches 6,302, active cases 826

NOIDA: Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Buddh Nagar on Friday recorded 72 new Covid-19 patients, pushing the tally in the district to 6,302, official data showed. However, the number of active cases came down to 826 from 832 on Thursday, according to data released by the Uttar Pradesh health department for a 24-hour period.
Also, 70 more patients got discharged during the period. So far, 5,433 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Gautam Buddh Nagar, the second highest among districts in UP after Lucknow (8,607), it showed.
The district has so far recorded 43 deaths linked to coronavirus and the mortality rate among positive cases stood at 0.68 per cent, official statistics stated.
The recovery rate of patients improved to 86.21 from 85.97 on Thursday, as per the statistics.
There were 50,426 active cases across Uttar Pradesh. So far, 92,586 patients have recovered across the state, showed data.
