NEW DELHI: Infrastructure stocks were trading on a negative note at 01:42PM (IST) on Friday.

Shares of Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 2.82 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India (down 1.57 per cent), Interglobe Aviation (down 1.37 per cent), GMR Infrastructure (down 0.93 per cent) and CESC (down 0.8 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

While Siemens (up 4.14 per cent), Suzlon Energy (up 3.85 per cent), CG Power & Industrial Solutions (up 3.41 per cent), NCC (up 3.01 per cent) and NBCC (India) (up 2.88 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty Infrastructure index was trading 0.3 per cent down at 3207 around 01:42PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 30.65 points at 11269.8, while the BSE Sensex was down 115.81 points at 38194.68.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Ashok Leyland, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd. and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Lupin, APL Apollo Tube, Birlasoft, Aditya Birla Fashion (PP) and Alkyl Amines hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Mittal Life Style Ltd., Keerti Knowledge and Skills Ltd. and Uniinfo Telecom Services Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
