NEW DELHI: MidCap stocks were trading with gains at 01:20PM (IST) on Friday.

Shares of Shriram City Union Finance (up 13.15 per cent), JSW Energy (up 6.11 per cent), PNB Housing Finance (up 4.21 per cent), Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (up 3.99 per cent) and Cummins India (up 3.97 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While 3M India (down 4.04 per cent), Balkrishna Industries (down 3.86 per cent), Bharat Heavy Electricals (down 2.31 per cent), Indian Hotels Company (down 1.85 per cent) and Bajaj Holdings & Investment (down 1.69 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The S&P BSE MidCap index was trading 0.3 per cent up at 14626.53 around 01:20PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 14.20 points at 11314.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 36.24 points at 38346.73.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 29 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Alok Industries, Ashok Leyland and NBCC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Lupin, APL Apollo Tube, Birlasoft, JSPL and KIOCL Ltd. hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while Mauria Udyog Ltd., Panth Infinity Ltd., Viaan Industries Ltd., Navkar Builders Ltd., Vas Infrastructure Ltd., Shree Karthik Papers Ltd., SC Agrotech Ltd., Anubhav Infrastructure Ltd., Unishire Urban Infra Ltd. and Centerac Technologies Ltd. hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
