Amravati reports 129 cases; total now 3,687

Amravati: A spike of 129 cases on Saturday took Amravati district’s Covid count to 3,687.
A civil surgeon office report further said that 129 patients were also discharged. This took the number of recovered patients to 2,496.
With 95 Covid deaths so far, the number of active cases on Saturday was 1,096. This includes 21 being treated in Nagpur.
The rural belt reported 31 cases today. The count from here is now 961.
Paratwada reported nine cases to take its count to 51 while Bhatkuli reported four to take its count to 43.
Anjangaon Surji and Achalpur reported two cases each to take their respective count to 46 and 67. Single cases came from 14 other places in the district and one from Wardha.
In the city, Rampuri Camp and Krush Nagar reported six cases each to extend their respective counts to 72 and 44 while New Swastik Nagar and New Colony in Dastur Nagar gave four cases each. These are the first cases from these two areas.
Kalyan Nagar and Sai Nagar too gave four cases each to take their count to seven and 29, respectively. Three cases each came from Camp, Sakkarsath and Badnera that took their respective count to 28, seven and 255. Pooja Colony too reported three cases to take its count to four.
Two cases were reported from Belpura, Chavare Nagar and Mhada Colony that took their count to 34, eight and 11. Central also reported two cases to take its count to 26. Darshan Apartment too reported two cases for the first time.
Single cases came from 49 other localities in the city.
