Home Ministry released a list of gallantry awards on Independence Day, J&K beat it

The Union Home Ministry has announced the gallantry awards to be given to police officers on the occasion of Independence Day. This time, Jammu and Kashmir Police has got the first place and CRPF second place and Uttar Pradesh Police has got the third place. Jammu and Kashmir Police have received 81 awards and CRPF have received 55 and UP Police has received 23 awards.

In the ongoing list, the Ministry of Home Affairs has given gallantry awards to 215 jawans and President's Medal to 80 people and Police Medal to 631 jawans for distinguished service. The Ministry has released its full list. In which Jammu and Kashmir Police has won 81 Gallantry Awards.

According to the list released by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Andhra Pradesh Police has 16, Arunachal Pradesh Police 4, Assam Police 21, Chhattisgarh Police 14, Goa Police 19, Gujarat Police 19, Haryana Police 12, Himachal Pradesh Police has got 4, Jharkhand Police has received 24, Karnataka Police has received 18 Gallantry and Service Awards.


Apart from this, Kerala Police has 6, Madhya Pradesh Police 20, Maharashtra Police 58, Manipur Police 7, Mizoram Police 3, Nagaland one, Odisha 14, Punjab 15, Rajasthan 18, Sikkim 2, Tamil Nadu. 23, Telangana 14, Tripura 6, Uttar Pradesh Police 102, Uttarakhand 4, and West Bengal have received 21 Gallantry and Service Awards.
