The investigations into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput continues, with the CBI stepping in to conduct an independent probe and the ED carrying on their inquiry into the financial aspects of the case. With the CBI zeroing in on five key witnesses who were at the scene before the Mumbai Police, the ED, on the other hand, questioned Mitu Singh about her late brother’s finances. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court reserved its judgment on Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for the transfer of the probe from Patna to Mumbai, and instead asked all parties to file brief written notes of all such precedent judgments by Thursday. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut reportedly said that all political parties, all their opponents as well as the late actor’s family members should remain quiet. He also stated that Mumbai Police was about to conclude its investigation in the matter.
Sushant SIngh Rajput's former driver Dhiren confessed that Rhea Chakraborty hijacked all of the actor's finances and was taking all major decisions of the actor’s personal and professional life. This is also one of the reasons she replaced all the staff members.

Penning down emotional note, Kriti Sanon said that she is “hoping” and “praying” for the case to be investigated without any “political agendas” and in its “true sense.” She added that it’s high time for the late actor’s soul to finally rest in peace. She also stated that Sushant’s loved ones deserve a “closure.”
Maharashtra Govt file its submission in the SC
According to Times Now's latest report, the Maharashtra Govt has filed its submission in the SC in connection to the plea filed by Rhea Chakraborty to transfer the case to Mumbai. According to it, the Patna FIR is malafide & illegal and a single-judge bench can't order for a CBI probe.

According to Times Now, the Rajput family has stated through their written submission that they have no faith in Mumbai police. They have also added that the Bihar government has the complete jurisdiction to probe the FIR filed against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna. Lawyer Vikas Singh has also cited that the case is more appropriate for the CBI invention because there are two states involved alongside the fight for jurisdiction as Mumbai police have not cooperated with Bihar police for the probe

The larger point is that Bihar definitely has jurisdiction and the SC should rule on that.

Kangana Ranaut’s team took to Twitter to share a video of the ‘Queen’ actress where she is seen holding a placard that read “JUSTICE FOR SUSHANT #CBIforSushant.” In the video, Kangana says, “We want CBI for Sushant Singh Rajput. We deserve to know the truth."
