Xiaomi rolls out MIUI 12 in India: 7 phones that will get the update first

Xiaomi MIUI 12 is now official in India. The company has announced that the new update will start rolling out this month to some of its phones. The MIUI 12 software brings several features including new UI, wallpapers, built-in app drawer, ultra-battery saver which is claimed to deliver 5 hours of battery life even with 5% battery left and more. Here are the first seven smartphones from Xiaomi that will receive the MIUI 12 update:

Xiaomi Mi 10 is a 5G phone that comes powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor with Snapdragon X55 5G modem. The handset boasts of a 108MP primary camera. MIUI 12 brings Magic Clone feature to the device which allows one to capture the same person up to four times at different intervals of time.

Redmi Note 9 is powered by MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor and runs on MIUI 11 based on Android 10 operating system. It comes with a starting price of Rs 11,999.

Redmi Note 9 Pro has two RAM variants- 4GB and 6GB priced at Rs 13,999 and Rs 16,999, respectively. The handset boasts of a 48MP quad camera lens at the back and houses a 5,020mAh battery.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 offers a 48MP AI quad camera on the rear side and a 13MP camera at the front. It runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 octa-core processor and is backed by 4,000mAh battery.

Coming with a starting price of Rs 15,999, Redmi Note 8 Pro has a 6.53-inch FHD+ display. The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T processor. The device houses a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charger support.

Redmi Note 7 comes with a starting price of Rs 11,490. The smartphone has a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.

Redmi Note 7 Pro runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor and has a 6.3-inch FHD+ screen. The phone offers 48MP dual rear camera and is backed by 4,000mAh battery. It is listed with a starting price of Rs 10,999 on Flipkart.
