Odisha: Heavy rains trigger flood-like situation in Malkangiri district

Heavy rains triggered flood-like situation in Odisha's Malkangiri district. Several part of the Malkangiri district area have been submerged in the water. Road communication was disrupted following heavy rains. Hundreds of vehicles and people were stranded on both sides of a bridge. District administration along with Gram Panchayat officers is monitoring the situation. "Stranded people have been provided food packets," said an officer on ground zero.
