Abid Ali and Azhar Ali stitched an unbeaten half-century partnership to help Pakistan reach 62/1 at lunch on the opening day of second Test in Southampton on Thursday. The visitors were put under pressure as James Anderson handed them an early blow dismissing opener Shan Masood for just one run. England fast bowlers bowled probing line and lengths causing the visitors a lot of trouble. However, the duo stuck together and somehow managed to survive the morning burst of spell. Abid Ali also got some help from England slip fielders who dropped him twice, while Azhar Ali was lucky that the ball didn't clip his bails even after hitting the stumps. With just 10 minutes for lunch, it started drizzling, forcing the umpires to call for an early lunch. (LIVE SCORECARD)
