The investigations into the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput continues, with the CBI stepping in to conduct an independent probe and the ED carrying on their inquiry into the financial aspects of the case. With the CBI zeroing in on five key witnesses who were at the scene before the Mumbai Police, the ED, on the other hand, questioned Mitu Singh about her late brother’s finances. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court reserved its judgment on Rhea Chakraborty’s plea for the transfer of the probe from Patna to Mumbai, and instead asked all parties to file brief written notes of all such precedent judgments by Thursday. According to Times Now, the Rajput family has stated through their written submission that they have no faith in Mumbai police. They have also added that the Bihar government has the complete jurisdiction to probe the FIR filed against Rhea Chakraborty in Patna. Lawyer Vikas Singh has also cited that the case is more appropriate for the CBI invention because there are two states involved alongside the fight for jurisdiction as Mumbai police have not cooperated with Bihar police for the probe

The ED will be questioning two house staffs of Sushant Singh Rajput. As per the sources, both of these staff, namely Neeraj and Deepak Sawat were present at the actor’s Bandra residence on 14 June when Sushant was found dead in his room.

It has been revealed that Rhea Chakraborty in her submission to SC stated that the “Bihar government can't transfer probe to the CBI.” Supreme Court had reserved its judgment and is expected to decide on the same today.

Two staff members named Neeraj and Deepak Sawant who were present at Sushant Singh Rajput’s home in Bandra on June 14 will be questioned by the ED. They were reportedly hired by Rhea Chakraborty.
