Haryana: Ambala reports 69 new Covid cases, 1 death

AMBALA: The district on Tuesday reported 69 new Covid-19 cases and one death, pushing the coronavirus tally to 2,260 while the toll increased to 20.
The deceased was a cancer patient, said civil surgeon Dr Kuldeep Singh.
“A 67-year-old man of Hira Nagar died of Covid-19 at Philadelphia Mission Hospital on Tuesday. He was also suffering from blood cancer. His family members had also tested positive for Covid-19 but they recovered from the infection. He got admitted to the mission hospital on Sunday, where he was kept on a ventilator and he died on Tuesday at about 2am,” said Dr Kuldeep.
Meanwhile, 70 Covid patients also got discharged during the day, taking the recovery count to 1,810, he said.
