NEW DELHI: S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading on a positive note at 01:21PM on Tuesday.

<br> Shares of <a target="_blank" href="/eros-international-media-ltd/stocks/companyid-32234.cms">Eros International Media</a> (up 14.96 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/nesco-ltd/stocks/companyid-12132.cms">Nesco Ltd.</a> (up 14.95 per cent), Nila Infra (up 13.93 per cent), Garware Technical Fibres (up 12.57 per cent) and Astron Paper (up 12.5 per cent) were among the top gainers.

<br> While Laurus (down 7.56 per cent), Transpek Inds. (down 7.34 per cent), Nath BioGenes (India) Ltd (down 5.9 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/caplin-point-laboratories-ltd/stocks/companyid-8581.cms">Caplin Point Laboratories Ltd</a> (down 5.61 per cent) and Saregama India (down 5.45 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

<br> The S&P BSE SmallCap index was trading 0.24 per cent up at 13901.95 around 01:21PM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 76.10 points at 11346.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 290.76 points at 38472.84.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 31 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

<br> Shares of YES Bank, <a target="_blank" href="/vodafone-idea-ltd/stocks/companyid-3154.cms">Vodafone Idea</a>, Suzlon Energy, IDFC First Bank Ltd. and ITC were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

<br> Shares of Vaibhav Global, Garware Technical Fibres, GMM Pfaudler, <a href="/topic/Rossari-Biotech-Ltd." target="_blank">Rossari Biotech Ltd.</a> and JSPL hit their fresh 52week high in today's trade.
