With CBI stepping in to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the late actor’s father and sister have reportedly alleged 'murder' and not 'abetment to suicide' in their recent statement. On the other hand, Rhea Chakrabroty denied all allegations leveled by Sushant Singh Rajput’s father in an affidavit she had filed yesterday, the actress also raised concern about Sushant’s case being blown out of proportion and that she was being made a scapegoat of political agendas. Sushant Singh Rajput case: Supreme Court reserves judgement, asks Rhea, the late actor's family and other parties to submit notes by Thursday

Supreme Court has announced its verdict with regards to the petition filed by Rhea Chakraborty wherein she requested the transfer of the FIR filed against her, from the Bihar Police to the Mumbai Police. After hearing arguments by Rhea’s lawyer, Sushant’s family lawyer, the counsel representing Maharashtra Govt and the Solicitor Genenral of India, the Supreme Court asked for brief written notes from all parties by Thursday. The judgement has been reserved and the next hearing has been scheduled for Thursday, August 13 as per Times Now's latest report.

Sushant Singh Rajput case: Maninder Singh claims Bihar Government’s action as ‘legal’, alleges Mumbai police did not cooperate

Maninder Singh who is appearing on behalf of the Bihar Government, claimed in his opening statement that the Patna police’s action on the probe is ‘legal’ and ‘bonafide’ after Rhea’s lawyer, Shyam Divan justified that for a fair investigation, the case first needs to go back to the Mumbai police.
