Delhi is making a remarkable recovery against Coronavirus, here's how

To acknowledge the same, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter and informed that over 90 per cent of coronavirus patients in Delhi have recovered and 7 per cent of the total cases are active. He also congratulated and lauded the efforts of Delhites in “slowly and steadily defeating coronavirus.”

He wrote, “Over 90% of Corona patients in Delhi have now recovered. Only 7% cases are active now. Slowly and steadily, the people of Delhi are defeating Corona. #DelhiModel”

Furthermore, aggressive contact tracing was also implemented to contain the viral infection.

Delhi CM had also thanked South Korean Ambassador to India Shin Bong-kil, after he lauded Delhi Model and congratulated the Delhi government on the efforts it is making to tackle the pandemic.

Shin Bong-kil appreciated the Delhi model and said, “I am very impressed with the Delhi model. The Korean model is three T’s – test, trace and treat. The Delhi model is test, home quarantine and is a very effective and wise measure. This works for India and the Delhi situation. The Delhi government’s achievement must be congratulated."

“Happy that our Delhi Model is being recognized across the globe. I want to thank South Korean Ambassador H.E. Shin Bong-Kil for his encouraging words. All nations coming together to defeat covid-19 is the need of the hour,” Kejriwal had noted.

As of now, Delhi has recorded 1,46,134 coronavirus cases and 4,131 deaths. While the number of daily coronavirus cases hovered over 1,000 between August 5 and 9, it again went down on August 10. The national capital reported 707 fresh cases yesterday as per the Delhi State Health Bulletin.
