Famous poet Rahat Indori died due to coronavirus on Tuesday.

The Urdu poet was tested positive for the novel contagion in Madhya Pradesh’s Indore.

ANI quoted Dr Vinod Bhandari, Sri Aurobindo Hospital as saying, "He suffered two heart attacks today and could not be saved. He was admitted to hospital on Sunday, after testing positive for #COVID19. He had 60 per cent pneumonia.

The 70-year- made the news public via his Twitter handle on Tuesday morning. He earlier on Tuesday tweeted, “After showing initial Covid19 symptoms, I was tested for the virus on Monday and I am declared positive for the virus today and have been admitted to Aurobindo hospital.”

Rahat Indori was a famous Urdu poet and was also known to express his views on socio-political scenarios in the nation.
