Updated Jaguar F-Type Coupe and Convertible are now available.

Jaguar has upgraded the interior and exterior with a new instrument cluster and 'J-shaped' LED daytime driving lights.

The grille is now wider and deeper while the rear of the updated car is signified by new LED taillights.

Jaguar South Africa confirmed its updated F-Type is now available locally. The two-door sports car receives significant upgrades inside and out and include a new 31cm high-definition quality instrument cluster, a new design and the active exhaust system is now available across the range.

From the front you'll notice newly-designed 'J-shaped' LED daytime driving lights and a wider, deeper grille. The rear of the updated model is signified by LED taillights.

Both the Coupe and Convertible models mirror specification and trim levels. The R-Dynamic is comprehensively kitted out with LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, six-way electric seat adjustments, keyless entry, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 31cm interactive instrument cluster and six airbags and a fixed panoramic roof.

For the flagship R model, the F-Type benefits from Pixel LED headlights, 12-way memory electric seats, Ebony Windsor leather, up sized 20-inch alloys and an R body kit.

For customers looking for something more exclusive, Jaguar's First Edition version is only available on the P380 all-wheel drive model during the first year of production.

This model turns the notch up with 20-inch Diamond Turned alloys and the all important 'First Edition' scripting on the door tread plates and aluminium instrument panel finisher. The Windsor leather Performance seats are offered in a choice of Ebony with Light Oyster stitching or Mars Red with Flame stitching.

Only three colours are available for the First Edition models: Fuji White, Santorini Black or Eiger Grey.

The popular V6-powered engine is the middle of the range and uses a supercharged 3.0-litre with the nomenclature  P380. It produces 280kW and 460Nm and Jag says it'll reach 0-100km/h in under five seconds. Top speed is 275km/h. Purists will like that the V6 is offered with a choice of rear- and all-wheel drive, and benefits from a mechanical limited-slip differential.

The range-topping R P575 uses a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 423kW and 700Nm. 0-100km/h is dispatched in 3.7 seconds with a top speed quoted at 300km/h.
