Big haul | Drugs worth Rs 1,000 crore seized at Navi Mumbai port

The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and Customs Department has seized 191 kg of drugs worth Rs 1,000 crore in a joint operation at the Nhava Sheva port in Navi Mumbai.

The drugs were transported inside pipes and brought to India through Afghanistan, ANI reported.

“Court has sent the two accused to 14 days police custody,” Directorate of Revenue Intelligence told the news agency.
