NEW DELHI: Nifty Metal index was trading flat on Monday's morning session.

<br> Shares of Hindustan Zinc (down 1.38 per cent), APL Apollo Tubes (down 0.7 per cent), Hindalco Industries (down 0.56 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/jindal-steel-power-ltd/stocks/companyid-4355.cms">Jindal Steel</a> & Power (down 0.3 per cent) and <a target="_blank" href="/nmdc-ltd/stocks/companyid-11633.cms">NMDC Ltd</a> (down 0.17 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

<br> While <a target="_blank" href="/mishra-dhatu-nigam-ltd/stocks/companyid-4499.cms">Mishra Dhatu Nigam</a> (up 3.59 per cent), Welspun Corp (up 2.04 per cent), Ratnamani Metals & Tubes (up 0.92 per cent), <a target="_blank" href="/moil-ltd/stocks/companyid-4501.cms">MOIL</a> (up 0.91 per cent) and <a target="_blank" href="/hindustan-copper-ltd/stocks/companyid-11733.cms">Hindustan Copper</a> (up 0.68 per cent) were among the top gainers.

<br> The Nifty Metal index was trading 0.16 per cent up at 2318.0 around 11:50AM.

<br> Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 115.95 points at 11330.0, while the BSE Sensex was up 363.74 points at 38404.31.

<br> Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 37 were trading in the green, while 13 were in the red.

<br> Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, BEL, BHEL and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
