If you or your friends or relatives have to search for a vacant ICU, ventilator or oxygenated bed in hospitals here's the mobile app for you

Pune: If you or your friends or relatives have to search for a vacant ICU, ventilator or oxygenated bed in hospitals of Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Satara, Sangli, Kolhapur or Solapur then you just need to download one app CCS and apply filter for your region and choice of treatment.

The most important part in this app is it displays real-time information about hospital beds availability updated by the hospital themselves. So patients or relatives won’t have to ride in ambulances from one hospital to another in search of vacant hospital beds.

• Install the application and log in

HOW TO USE THE BED MANAGEMENT DASHBOARD APP

• Once you log into the app you will receive opening message of ‘Welcome to CCS Bed Dashboard’

• Common public is not authorised for access and hence select ‘Skip to Dashboard’ option

• You can see the cumulative hospital beds availability

   - Total allocated beds

   - Total vacant beds

   - Allocated beds for isolation (without oxygen)

   - Allocated isolation beds (with oxygen)

   - Vacant beds for isolation (without oxygen)

   - Vacant isolation beds (with oxygen)

   - Allocated beds for ICU without ventilator

   - Allocated ICU beds with ventilator

   - Vacant beds for ICU without ventilator

   - Vacant ICU beds with ventilator

• Below this table, you can find a ‘search by hospital name option’

• Below this option there is a list of hospitals mentioning the contact numbers at the hospitals and also the last updated date and time from the hospital.

• On the right hand top corner, you will see a filter and call symbol

• If you select the call symbol, then emergency numbers for ambulance service and Pune, Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Control Room will be displayed. You can directly call from the display menu if you have given access to the app for making calls.

• If you select the filter symbol, you will get a menu to select

   - Your District

   - Area (Pune or Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation or Cantonment, etc)

   - Hospital by charges

• In the hospital by charges menu, you can select

   - Government free (example Sassoon hospital)

   - MOU free (acquired hospitals for free treatment by local bodies)

   - Mahatma Phule Jan Arogya Yojana (MPJAY) free

   - Chargeable (private hospitals and paid entirely by patients)

   - Show All

• Hospitals can be selected according to their category as

   - Covid Care Centre (CCC)

   - Dedicated Covid Hospital (DCH or DCHC)

   - All

• Another option to select is ‘Show Bed Availability’

   - All records

   - Only vacant beds for isolation

   - Only vacant beds with oxygen

   - Only vacant beds for ICU without ventilator

   - Only Vacant ICU beds with ventilator

Meanwhile, Rubal Agrawal, Additional Municipal Commissioner of Pune tweeted about the app on Sunday (August 9). Her tweet says, “Get details of hospital bed availability in Pune in real-time. Citizens can filter it by type of beds, hospital names and free or paid category of beds.
