Any type of visa good for ‘air bubble’ nations

NEW DELHI: Indian nationals can now travel on any type of visa to countries with which ‘air bubble’ arrangements have been made, the civil aviation ministry tweeted on Sunday. At present, India has travel bubbles with the US, the UK, France and Germany. This list of countries with ‘air bubble’ provision is likely to expand in coming days.
“Restrictions on the entry into India of Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card holders from countries with which aviation ministry has air bubble arrangements have been removed…, the aviation ministry tweeted on Sunday.
Indians may soon be able to travel to UAE
Foreign nationals belonging to countries with which (India) has air bubble arrangements can avail Indian visa facility for business, medical and employment purposes,” the aviation ministry tweeted. “In another huge step for Indians wishing to travel abroad, they may travel to countries with which air bubble arrangements have been finalised by (India) on any type of visa,” it said.
Indians with valid UAE visas may soon be able to travel to the country.
