The Maharashtra Police has got a big success in getting drunk. The consignment brought from Afghanistan to India has been caught by the police in Navi Mumbai. Drugs worth about Rs 1,000 crore were hidden in plastic pipes and brought to India from Afghanistan via Iran.

These pipes are painted in such a way that they look like bamboo. The weight of these drugs is 191 kg, in which two accused have been arrested and the court has sent them to the police custody for 14 days. Such a large consignment was caught under the joint operation of the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence and Customs officials.

Customs officials said that the accused described it as Ayurvedic medicine and said that it is being hidden in such a way so that it can be saved from spoilage. However, when the officers strictly questioned the accused, both of them confessed to the drug.

Apart from this, two customs officers who manufacture drug papers were arrested from Mumbai, an importer, and financier from Delhi. Now both the criminals are being brought to Mumbai. Custom agents Meenanath Bodke and Kondibhau Pandurang Gunjal were produced in the local court.

After which the court sent them both to judicial custody for 14 days. Meenanath Bodke told that a man named Mohammad Numan introduced him to the importer Suresh Bhatia in Delhi. During interrogation, it was found that Bhatia had been caught in drug smuggling earlier also.
