The Sunday Late night rains in Mussoorie have caused landslides at many places on Mussoorie-Dehradun and Kempty route. Roads to these places closed due to landslides. A joint team of the Mussoorie Police, Fire Service and Public Works Department attempted to open the route, But due to incessant rains, they are facing difficulties in opening the route. Some routes have been opened and process to remove boulders and trees still on. Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the region for the next 24 hours. District Administration has also issued an alert in this regard.
