In under an hour at 6pm.

The university of north alabama said it has had 63 cases of coronavirus on campus since the pandmeic started, but no cases have been reported today as students undergo testing leading up to the start of the new semester.

Waay31's breken terry is live at the school where coronavirus tests play a big role as the university ends its second day of students moving into dorms, breken?

Una told me to protect students and staff they can't tell us if anyone has failed a coronavirus test.

But even test negative and get this health passport to move in, you could be randomly selected for a covid test.

Una said it doesn't know how many students will be on campus this year because it will enroll students up until the first day of class on august 19th.

The university said students living in dorms will have not one but two times a day that janitorial staff will come sanitize common areas, but it will be up to individual students to keep their own areas clean.

The university said once school does start they will be doing random health screenings.

We do have daily health checks that we provide.

Every student, faculty, and staff gets an email and they fill that out and then we have sequential testing which is randomized testing in the fall.

Students will be required to wear masks, wash their hands, and socially distance while on campus.

I asked the university what will happen to students living in dorms if the whole campus has to go to virtual.

It said right now it's planning for every possible scenario, but must consider what's the trend of the virus when these big questions come up on what to do
