Celebs reveal common DP for Rajinikanth to mark his 45 years in films

Superstar Rajinikanth made his on screen debut with director K Balachander's Apoorva Raagangal 45 years ago. The film, which also had Kamal Haasan and Srividya in lead roles, hit the screens on 15 August 1975. Fans of the star have been planning to celebrate the occasion in a big way, and as a beginning, a number of celebs from different industries have released the common DP on Sunday. #45YearsOfRajinismCDP was the hashtag chosen by the fans on Twitter to signify 45 years of the actor’s film journey. Sivakarthikeyan, Raghava Lawrence, Lokesh Kanagaraj, Atlee and Soundarya Rajinikanth were a few from Kollywood who released the CDP from their respective Twitter accounts. Celebs from other industries like Mohanlal, Mammootty and Suniel Shetty, too, joined the fray in wishing Rajinikanth on the special occasion.
