You’re replaceable

The first bed you slept in,
There was a kid in there before you.
The first seat in your kindergarten classroom,
That one was someone else’s before.
Your chats with that ‘one person’,
Either the person will move to take a new place or the chat will slide down,
But replacement is inevitable,
Because replacement is the only constant!
You replace someone to get a job,
Someone replaces you to have your place,
Your heart’s replaced with someone’s and someone’s with yours,
Whether nutured or broken, replacement is inevitable,
Because replacement is the only constant,
And we shall all be replaced,
Replaced someday from this big fat world!
