Money laundering probe: Rhea Chakraborty tried to hide details of 'second phone' when questioned by ED, gets fresh summons for Monday

Rhea Chakraborty who was questioned for hours at length by the ED on Friday in a money laundering case connected to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case along with brother, Showik, reportedly failed to inform the agency that she has a second number as well when asked to submit all her electronic devices. Times Now reveals it was only when she was confronted by the ED with the call detail records of her second phone number, she admitted that she was using a second phone. Her brother, Showik, who has been named in an FIR by the CBI based on the one registered by Sushant's father KK Singh in Bihar for suspected offences of criminal conspiracy, abetment of suicide, wrongful restraint, among other charges, had stepped out for a brief period on Friday to fetch Rhea’s second phone. It was also revealed that a forensic examination of the mobile phone will be conducted and data will be retrieved. Rhea and her father Indrajit Chakraborty have been reportedly summoned by the ED today as well, for further interrogation.
