The students who appeared for the Tamil Nadu class 10 examination will be able to check their results from 9.30 am today i.e., August 10, 2020.
Issuing a notice on Friday C Usharani, director of government exams, said" The results of Class 10 would be declared at 9.30 am on August 10. Candidates can check their results by registering their date of birth and roll number."
Along with the TNDGE website, the SSLC results will also be available on the TN Result portal — tnresults.nic.in.

08.34 am: More than nine lakh students await the TN 10th result 2020
Over nine lakh students had registered for the Tamil Nadu class 10 examination that was scheduled to be held in March.
08.21 am: Students can submit a grievance form if they have any complaints over their marks
If students have any complaints over their marks, they can submit the form through their schools. Students need to submit these forms from August 17 to 25. The forms can be obtained from the DGE's website www.dge.tn.gov.in and processed.
08.05 am: TN SSLC provisional mark sheets from August 17
Students will get their provisional mark sheets from August 17 to 25.
07.45 am: Tamil Nadu cancelled 10th Board exams
In view of the rise in numbers in Covid-19 cases, the Tamil Nadu government cancelled the board exams and decided to award marks based on half-yearly and quarterly exam marks of students.

Once the result is announced, students will have to login with their hall ticket number and date of birth to check their scores.
This year, the Tamil Nadu Board had to scrap the class 10 examinations due to the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown. Since the board did not conduct the final exams, the assessment was done on the basis of candidates' performance in quarterly and half-yearly exams. Students will be awarded 80% weightage for half-yearly and quarterly exam marks, and 20% weightage for attendance.
Every year, the Tamil Nadu Board announces SSLC results in April. However, this year the SSLC result got delayed due to the pandemic. Last year the directorate of government examinations, Tamil Nadu had declared the SSLC results on April 29. The passing percentage of TN SSLC result 2019 was 94.50%.
