It has been 45 years since megastar Rajinikanth has been ruling over the Indian cinema. Fans and followers from all across have been sharing images and videos to celebrate #45YearsOfRajinismCDP. Celebrities like Mohanlal, Prithviraj and AR Rahman also joined the fans to celebrate the 'icon of Indian cinema'.

Rajinikanth is gearing up for his next movie 'Annaatthe' (also his character name in the film), directed by Siruthai Siva. The movie features Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara, Khushbu Sundar and Meena too. The filming for the movie, also featuring Prakash Raj, began in December 2019. Along with other films, the movie's schedule also has to be postponed due to the lockdown.
